Véronique Kolber (*1978) is an independent photographer based in Mullendorf, Luxembourg.

She studied photography in Brussels from 1998 to 2001, followed by visual arts in Strasbourg from 2002 to 2005.

She received the Découvertes – Jeunes Talents prize from the Centre National de l'Audiovisuel (CNA) for her project Reflections, and was nominated for the Robert Schuman Art Prize with Moving Through Time – At the Discovery of Disappearance. In 2025, she was shortlisted for the Images Vevey Book Award with her project Deceptively Quiet.

She has published four monographic books, and her work has appeared in over 40 publications. Exhibited in more than 60 shows across Europe, the United States, India, and China, her photographs are part of numerous public and private collections. With a poetic and intimate approach, her work explores themes of memory, reality, and fiction.

Beyond photography, she has created several experimental videos in collaboration with her husband, musician Daniel Balthasar.

Her interests include film set, portrait, and documentary photography, and she actively works in these fields.

She has been commissioned by various institutions and creative partners, including the Philharmonie Luxembourg, the Ministry of Culture, Théâtre National du Luxembourg (TNL), Mierscher Theater, Amour Fou, a_BAHN, Red Lion, Skill Lab, Ramborn, the Centre National de l’Audiovisuel (CNA), and the Centre National de Littérature (CNL).
