NY DIORAMA

NY Diorama is a collection of scenes that feel both real and staged. Shot in New York, these photographs observe the city from a distance, almost like looking into a miniature world. The images are still, composed, and silent - like frozen frames from an unknown film. Moments of light, structure, and reflection create accidental sets. Architecture and surfaces become backdrops where nothing particular happens, and that nothingness is the point. The chaos of the city fades away, leaving only fragments: a gesture, a shadow, a quiet arrangement of space. These images don’t try to define New York, but to hold onto the feeling of passing through it. The result is a series of dioramas, enclosed, detached, and open to interpretation, inviting the viewer to lean in and imagine what came before or what might come next.
